Zubeen Garg was Poisoned by his Manager, Festival Organisers! Claims Bandmate

Zubeen Garg

In a shocking twist surrounding the death of legendary singer Zubeen Garg, his bandmate Shekhar Jyoti Goswami has come forward with serious allegations. He accused Garg’s manager, Siddharth Sharma, and festival organiser, Shyamkanu Mahanta, of poisoning the star and orchestrating a cover-up. According to Goswami’s testimony under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), Sharma displayed suspicious behaviour in the hours leading up to Garg’s death in Singapore, raising serious alarm among those present.

Zubeen Garg’s Bandmate Allegations

Goswami recounted that during the ill-fated yacht trip, Sharma forcibly took control from the sailor, causing dangerous instability. He also insisted on supplying all drinks himself. As Garg struggled for breath, Sharma allegedly shouted,Jabo de, jabo de(“let him go, let him go”). This is particularly suspicious because Garg was a trained swimmer, casting doubt over the drowning claim. Goswami claims the duo deliberately chose Singapore to mask their conspiracy and instructed him not to share any yacht footage.

Sharma and Mahanta deny the allegations. However, investigators say material evidence, including financial records and witness statements, suggests Sharma’s culpability. The Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax Department are set to join Assam Police in probing Mahanta’s alleged organised financial crimes and decades-old NBFC irregularities. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned in this chilling investigation, which blends fame, betrayal, and possible foul play.
