Pakistan has blamed India for the Islamabad blast that killed 12 people outside a district court. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused “Indian-sponsored terrorist proxies” of carrying out the attack and also linked India to a recent attack on a cadet college in Wana near the Afghanistan border. Sharif claimed these were part of India’s state-sponsored terrorism aimed at destabilising Pakistan. No evidence was provided to support the allegations.
India Denies Involvement
India dismissed Pakistan’s claims regarding the Islamabad blast as baseless. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said the allegations were a diversionary tactic by Pakistan to deflect attention from its internal crisis. India called the accusations “delirious” and emphasised that the international community would not be misled by Pakistan’s narrative linking the attack to New Delhi.
