Bihar is waiting for the results of the Bihar Election 2025, and excitement is high across the state. The big question is whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will continue his 20-year rule or if Tejashwi Yadav will finally get his first big victory. The results, expected on Friday, will decide who leads the next government. Both leaders held large rallies and made big promises Nitish focused on development and stability, while Tejashwi talked about jobs and change. This election is being seen as a major test for both leaders and their alliances.
Exit Poll Predictions
Bihar witnessed record voter participation this year, with more than 7.4 crore people casting their votes across 38 districts. In the Bihar Election 2025,voter turnout reached 67.13%, the highest in the state’s history. Interestingly, women voters outnumbered men, showing strong interest in this year’s election. According to various exit polls, the race is expected to be close. Most surveys have given the NDA (BJP-JD(U)-LJP) a slight edge with 130–160 seats, while the INDIA bloc (RJD-Congress-Left) is projected to secure between 70–105 seats. However, the Axis My India survey suggested a tighter contest, keeping the suspense alive until the counting day.
Bihar Election 2025
Nitish Kumar, who first became Chief Minister in 2005, is known for improving roads, law and order, and education. Yet, after several political shifts, some voters question his consistency. Tejashwi Yadav, leading the RJD, has campaigned on issues like unemployment, price rise, and better governance. His party narrowly lost in 2020 by just over 12,000 votes.
