Putin in India Today: Here’s What His Schedule Looks Like

Russian President Vladimir Putin is in India for a two-day visit, and his schedule in New Delhi is packed with key meetings. He lands this evening at 6:35 pm, setting the stage for discussions aimed at strengthening the India–Russia partnership. The two sides are expected to focus on defence, energy, and broader strategic ties, with the main round of talks planned for Wednesday.

Putin’s India Schedule

His official programme begins tomorrow at 11 am with a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He will then head to Rajghat at 11:30 am to lay a wreath, before meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11:50 am. A joint press statement is expected at 1:50 pm, followed by a business event at 3:40 pm. He will wrap up the day with a meeting with the President of India at 7 pm.
