The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested two individuals, including a woman, for allegedly passing classified information to Pakistan. A K Singh, a former Subedar in the Indian Army, was detained in Goa, while Rashmani Pal was arrested in Daman. The move follows intelligence inputs linking the duo to espionage activities. Officials said both suspects were involved in sharing sensitive details, posing a potential threat to national security.
Gujarat ATS Arrests Alleged Spies
The Gujarat ATS revealed that Singh and Pal were part of a larger network directed by Pakistan’s ISI. Singh admitted to smuggling two grenades and two pistols as part of a planned attack. The investigation also uncovered links to other operatives, including Manu Agwan and Maninder Billa in Malaysia, who were allegedly recruiting people in Punjab to carry out grenade attacks across India.
