Nitish Kumar Secures Victory
Just a day earlier, Kumar confidently staked a claim to form the next government after being unanimously chosen as the NDA’s legislative leader. The alliance delivered a sweeping victory in the Bihar Elections 2025, securing 202 out of 243 seats, reaffirming its strong hold over the state. The BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 89 seats, followed closely by the JD(U) with 85, while the LJP(RV), HAM(S), and RLM added crucial numbers.
