Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s divorce has been making the headlines. On March 20, the Bandra Family Court granted them divorce. While neither Chahal nor Verma has publicly addressed the reasons for their separation, a new report suggests the difference in lifestyles as a major reason.
Divorce Reason
As per journalist Vickey Lalwani, the Mumbai-Haryana divide played a significant role in their divorce. Chahal reportedly refused to move away from his parents’ home in Haryana, which led to tension between the couple.

On the day their divorce was finalised, Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted wearing a T-shirt with the phrase “Be your own sugar daddy.” As part of the divorce settlement, Verma is set to receive Rs 4.75 crore in alimony. On the same day, Dhanashree released a new song, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, which explores themes of infidelity and domestic violence, hinting at the struggles she may have faced during the marriage.
