South Indian actress Nayanthara has openly criticised actor Dhanush after receiving a court notice from him asking Rs 10 crore in damages for using a clip from their 2015 film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’. The ‘Jawan’ actress has used in it her upcoming Netflix documentary, ‘Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale’. The problem began when Nayanthara asked Dhanush, who produced ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’, for permission to use footage from the film in her documentary. However, after two years of waiting for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Dhanush, Nayanthara decided to release a reworked version of the video that omitted the official material. She later incorporated 3 seconds of behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage captured by fans during the film’s production, which is already widely available on social media.
