Vivek Oberoi Donates Fee from Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana to Kids with Cancer

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who will be seen portraying Vibhishan, Raavan’s brother, in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, has made a heartwarming gesture. The actor revealed that he has decided to donate his entire fee from the film to support children battling cancer.

Vivek Oberoi’s Heartfelt Gesture

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Vivek said, “I told Namit (Malhotra, producer) I don’t want a penny; I want to donate it to kids with cancer.” Speaking about the project, Vivek expressed excitement, calling Ramayana “India’s answer to Hollywood epics,” and praising its Oscar-winning VFX team.

The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh. Ramayana Part 1 will release on Diwali 2026, followed by Part 2 in Diwali 2027, promising to take Indian cinema to a global stage.
