Two priceless pieces of Indian cricket history are now on display at The Oval’s museum in London. Surrey Cricket Club, which calls the venue home, shared the update on Instagram to mark its 180th anniversary. The first item is Virat Kohli’s match-worn gloves from an ODI against England in July 2022. One glove bears his signature and the date.

Kohli becomes only the second Indian cricketer to have memorabilia featured at the historic site. The first? None other than Sachin Tendulkar. The museum also showcases a signed Test jersey from the Little Master. The label below proudly notes: “Sachin Tendulkar, Indian Test captain, 200 Test matches, 15,921 runs, 51 centuries.” “Explore the storied history of the Kia Oval,” wrote Surrey in their post. For cricket lovers, it’s a stop that celebrates legends in leather and lace.
