Central Delhi Kings bought Aryavir Sehwag, son of former India opener Virender Sehwag, for Rs 8 lakh in the DPL 2025 auction. South Delhi Superstarz picked Aryaveer Kohli, nephew of Virat Kohli for Rs 1 lakh. Fans will have their eyes on both players as they are considered promising players in the Delhi Premier League.

Who got the highest bid?
Fast bowler Simarjeet Singh was the most expensive player in the DPL 2025 auction, picked by Central Delhi Kings for Rs 39 lakh. Spinner Digvesh Rathi was followed closely by South Delhi Superstars for Rs 38 lakh. Rishabh Pant was retained by Purani Dilli 6 and will lead them in the new season. Pant said the DPL 2025 is a great stage for young talent.
