Virat Kohli, Team India’s star batter, made a stylish appearance at Wimbledon 2025 alongside his wife Anushka Sharma. They watched the Round of 16 clash between Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur from the stands. Kohli, a long-time admirer of Djokovic, backed the Serbian legend to win the title and expressed his wish to see a thrilling final between Novak and Carlos Alcaraz.

Kohli backs Novak Djokovic

In an interview outside court, Kohli revealed his personal connection with Djokovic, saying, “We’ve been in touch for a while. He’s been gracious and kind. I really hope he plays Carlos in the final and wins, it would be incredible at this stage of his career.”

The 36-year-old Virat Kohli, who reportedly owns a home in London, was joined at Wimbledon by fellow athletes Joe Root and James Anderson. Kohli also fondly recalled his first visit to Centre Court with Anushka in 2015, calling it a special memory they always hoped to recreate.
