A cloudburst struck Dharali village in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, on Tuesday, leading to flash floods and landslides. Four people have died so far, and more than 50 are missing. Several houses and small hotels were swept away by the strong water flow. Rescue teams from the Army, ITBP, NDRF, and SDRF are on site. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said relief efforts are in progress and the situation is being monitored.

Search Operations Continue
Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the affected area. Officials believe that around 10–12 people may still be trapped. Reports also suggest that nearly 20–25 buildings have been badly damaged or washed away. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police and other emergency teams are helping move villagers to safer areas. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken with the state government and assured all possible help.
