15 Killed in Uttarakhand, 3 in Himachal Due to Heavy Rain! More Showers Expected Today

Dehradun and many areas in Uttarakhand are facing severe flooding due to continuous heavy rain since Monday night. Rivers have overflowed, washing away roads and bridges, and damaging homes and shops. At least 15 people have died, 16 are missing, and hundreds are stranded. A bridge near Uttaranchal University collapsed, preventing people from reaching nearby hostels. Power and telephone lines have also been affected.

Heavy Rain Hits Uttarakhand

The ongoing heavy rain has triggered flash floods and landslides in Dehradun, Tapovan, and Sahastradhara. Himachal Pradesh reported three deaths and widespread damage to roads and houses. Rescue teams are helping stranded residents and clearing debris. Meteorologists warn that heavy rain may continue for the next few days, affecting parts of Uttarakhand and nearby regions.
