On Thursday, encounter broke out at Nader, Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, killing three terrorists. The terrorists have been identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani, and Yawar Ahmed Bhat. Officials believe that these three terrorists were affiliated with the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. The role of these three terrorists in the Pahalgam terror attack is still under investigation.
Pulwama Encounter
This encounter started in the Tral area of Awantipora in the Pulwama district earlier today. It was the second encounter that had occurred in J&K in three days. This encounter comes two days after the Indian forces neutralised three Lashkar-e-Taiba in an operation carried out on Tuesday.
