Sunjay Kapur, a renowned industrialist and ex-husband of actor Karisma Kapoor, passed away on June 12. 2025. He died at the age of 53 due to a heart attack during a polo match in London. His funeral was held at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi. Close family members were in attendance, including Karishma Kapoor, her children Samaira and Kiaan, Kareena Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan. Samaira and Kiaan were seen offering Floral tributes during the ceremony.

Prayer meet on June 22 at Taj Palace
A prayer ceremony for industrialist Sunjay Kapur will be held on June 22 at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi, announced by his mother, Rani Surinder Kapur, wife Priya Sachdev, and children Safira and Azarias also acknowledging his children, Samaira and Kiaan, from his previous marriage to actress Karishma Kapoor. Kapur leaves behind four children after three marriages.
