Author and columnist Shobhaa De recently spoke about the incredible success of Shilpa Shetty’s Mumbai restaurant, Bastian, calling it the centre of the city’s glamorous nightlife. Speaking on Inside Out with Barkha Dutt, she revealed that Bastian at the Top, located on the 48th floor of Kohinoor Square, earns an astonishing Rs 2–3 crore every night.

De described the place as “unreal,” featuring a 21,000 sq. ft. space, 360° skyline views, and a crowd that arrives in Lamborghinis and Aston Martins. The restaurant reportedly serves around 1,400 guests every night in two seatings, with each table spending lakhs on premium tequila and gourmet dishes.
Co-owned by Shilpa and restaurateur Ranjit Bindra, the Bastian brand has become a symbol of luxury dining in India. With new outlets opening in Goa and Juhu, her growing food empire continues to expand, redefining celebrity entrepreneurship in Bollywood.
