Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mumbai house, Mannat, is all set to go under renovation this summer. It was reported that SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, who is an interior designer herself, was in talks with authorities about adding an additional two floors. Shah Rukh and Gauri’s renovation plans have now hit a legal block.
Who Has Taken Action Against Shah Rukh Khan?
Social activist Santosh Daundkar has accused Shah Rukh Khan and the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) of violating Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) norms while securing clearances for renovations at Mannat, as per reports. He also alleged that SRK committed fraud by merging twelve 1-BHK flats meant for mass housing into a single residence. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has asked Daundkar to provide proof for his claims, warning that failure to do so will result in the dismissal of his appeal.
