Salman Khan Declared Terrorist By Pakistan Government! Here’s Why

Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has become the centre of a major international controversy after the Pakistan government reportedly declared him a terrorist under the 4th Schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act (1997). The document described the actor as an “Azad Balochistan Facilitator.” The listing places Khan under close surveillance, restricts his movements, and could lead to legal action. The development was confirmed by the Government of Balochistan Home Department on 16 October 2025.

The move followed his recent remarks about Balochistan during an event in Abu Dhabi, which sparked outrage across the border and led to serious diplomatic chatter online.

Salman Khan’s Statement

The controversy stems from Salman Khan’s comments made at the Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, where he appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. The trio discussed the growing influence of Indian cinema in the Middle East when Salman’s remarks took an unexpected turn.

He said, “Right now, if you make a Hindi film and release it here (in Saudi Arabia), it will be a superhit. If you make a Tamil, Telugu, or Malayali film, it will do hundreds of crores in business because so many people from other countries have come here. There are people from Balochistan, there are people from Afghanistan, there are people from Pakistan… everyone is working here.”

Leader Mir Yar Baloch’s Statement

While many interpreted this as a simple acknowledgment of the region’s diverse workforce, others in Pakistan saw it as politically charged. The remark quickly went viral, with Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch praising Salman Khan for his words.

As of now, Salman Khan has not publicly commented on Pakistan’s declaration or the controversy surrounding his statement.
