Saif Ali Khan has given his testimony to the Mumbai Police following the January 16 attack that took place at his residence. The Bandra Police team recorded his statement on Thursday evening, January 23.

The actor shared that he and Kareena Kapoor were in their bedroom when they heard their nurse, Eliyama Philip, scream. They immediately rushed to their son Jeh’s room, where they found an unknown man. At that moment, Jeh was also crying.
Saif recounted how he almost managed to subdue the intruder, but the man attacked him with a knife in the process. Saif then managed to break free from the attacker’s grip and pushed him into the room. Meanwhile, the other staff quickly took Jeh out of the room and locked it. The attacker had also assaulted nurse Eliyama Philip, who later told Saif that the man had demanded Rs 1 crore.
