Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant is set to make a big comeback! Cleared to play after a fractured foot, he will captain India A in two four-day matches against South Africa A in Bengaluru starting on 30 October. The star wicketkeeper-batter, sidelined since July, is eager to regain match fitness and form. Pant will skip Delhi’s Ranji Trophy clash to focus entirely on his return, giving fans their first look at his readiness ahead of India’s Test series against South Africa.

Rishabh Pant Leads India A Squad

Pant and vice-captain B. Sai Sudharsan will play both matches, while K. L. Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Prasidh Krishna, and Mohammed Siraj will join only for the second fixture from 6 November. The squad combines experienced campaigners with in-form domestic players such as Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhimanyu Easwaran, and N. Jagadeesan, giving India A a strong line-up before the main Test series.
