Political leaders across parties expressed grief and shock after the Red Fort Delhi Blast on Monday, which killed at least 17 people and injured many others near Gate 1 of the metro station. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi were among those who offered condolences. Amit Shah confirmed that the car involved in the Delhi Car Explosion, a Hyundai i20 bearing Haryana registration number HR‑26‑7674, was registered in the name of Nadeem Khan.
The National Security Guard (NSG), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and FSL are investigating. Leaders urged a thorough and time‑bound probe while assuring support to victims and families.
