Chaos erupted on the sets of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated film ‘Dhurandhar‘ in Leh when over 100 crew members suddenly fell ill. The shoot had to be stopped immediately, causing panic among the cast and crew. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and stars R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun in lead roles. On August 17, the film faced a serious health issue.
Mass Food Poisoning
The affected crew experienced severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and headache. Doctors confirmed it was a case of mass food poisoning. Emergency teams and the local police quickly stepped in, transporting the workers to Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported, though production remains on hold until the situation stabilises.
Despite this setback, ‘Dhurandhar‘ is scheduled for release on December 5, 2025. The film is expected to clash at the box office with Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming untitled project and Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Sahab’. Fans hope the crew recovers soon and that shooting resumes safely.
