Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday unveiled the RailOne mobile app, an integrated digital platform aimed at improving the railway travel experience for passengers. The app allows users to book tickets, check PNR status, plan journeys, order food and more. The RailOne Mobile app has been launched during the 40th Foundation Day of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).

Available on Android and iOS, RailOne offers freight enquiries as well as both reserved and unreserved ticketing. One of its major highlights is its clean, user-friendly interface and single sign-on feature that lets users log in using existing credentials from RailConnect or UTSonMobile.

The app also includes an integrated R-Wallet for transactions and supports login via biometric and mPIN options. New users can register quickly, and a guest mode using OTP is available for basic inquiries. The Railway Ministry called it a “one-stop solution” to simplify and improve travel for millions of daily commuters.
