‘Raid 2’ is ready to storm theatres on May 1, 2025. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the crime thriller is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster ‘Raid‘. The first film, made on a budget of Rs. 40 crores, earned over Rs. 153 crores, marking a major success for Ajay Devgn. After six long years, the team is back. Though announced in 2020, ‘Raid 2’ faced several delays. Filming finally began in 2024.
‘Raid 2’ cast fees
This time, Ajay Devgn reportedly charged Rs. 20 crores to reprise his role as Amay Patnaik. Riteish Deshmukh joins the cast as the antagonist, earning Rs. 4 crores. Vaani Kapoor steps in as the female lead, replacing Ileana D’Cruz, with a reported fee of Rs. 1 crore. The movie was first slated for November 2024 but got pushed due to post-production and scheduling hurdles. Now, releasing on International Labour Day, the movie is set to make waves at the box office.
