Modi Urged Peace in Ukraine
During the call, PM Modi emphasised India’s commitment to resolving the Ukraine conflict through diplomacy. The Alaska meeting between Trump and Putin last Friday did not result in a ceasefire. India welcomed the talks and highlighted that lasting peace can only come through dialogue. Meanwhile, Trump is scheduled to meet Ukrainian President Zelensky and European leaders to discuss the next possible steps towards ending the war.
