The move follows backlash over earlier designs that resembled traditional Indian footwear. With only 2,000 pairs available, the collection blends Indian craftsmanship with Italian techniques, while a three-year training programme will empower artisans, preserve heritage skills, and ensure fair pay.

Launching in February 2026, the exclusive sandals will be available in select stores worldwide and online.
