A massive fire broke out early Friday morning on the set of the popular TV show ‘Anupamaa’ at Film City, Mumbai. The blaze erupted around 5:00 AM, just two hours before the scheduled shoot, and destroyed the set. Crew members were already on site, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.

AICWA Slams Officials, Demands FIR and Inquiry
The All-Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has demanded a judicial probe and an FIR against the ‘Anupamaa’ production house, Film City officials. The association has urged Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to order a judicial probe into the fire incident. It also holds the production team, the broadcasting channel, Film City authorities, and labour officials responsible for ignoring mandatory fire safety norms.
