PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates Vantara, Plays With Lion Cubs And Other Animals

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue and rehabilitation initiative in Jamnagar, during his three-day trip to Gujarat. PM Modi shared several pictures and videos from his visit on social media and lauded Anant Ambani’s efforts.

Prime Minister Modi took to X and shared pictures of his visit to Vantara, where he could be seen playing with animals and feeding them. He wrote, “Inaugurated Vantara, a unique wildlife conservation, rescue and rehabilitation initiative, which provides a safe haven for animals while promoting ecological sustainability and wildlife welfare. I commend Anant Ambani and his entire team for this very compassionate effort.”

About Vantara

Vantara is a vast wildlife rescue, conservation, and rehabilitation center established by Reliance Industries in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation. Located within the Reliance Jamnagar Refinery Complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, the 3,000-acre sanctuary is dedicated to animal welfare and conservation efforts. Initiated by Anant Ambani, a director on the boards of RIL and Reliance Foundation, Vantara was officially inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 4, 2025.
