Pankaj Tripathi is entering a new phase of his career with Perfect Family, marking his debut as a producer. The upcoming dramedy is set to break ground as one of India’s first long-format series to use a structured pay model on YouTube. Premiering on November 27 on the JAR Series YouTube channel, viewers will be able to sample the first two episodes for free, while the full season can be unlocked worldwide with a one-time payment of Rs 59. Each episode runs for 35 to 40 minutes.
Pankaj Tripathi’s Debut
The eight-episode series is produced by Ajay Rai of JAR Pictures, Mohit Chhabra, and Pankaj Tripathi in his debut. It is directed by Sachin Pathak and created by Palak Bhambri. Featuring an impressive ensemble including Gulshan Devaiah, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, and Girija Oak, the show tells the story of a family pushed into therapy after an unexpected incident involving their daughter.
With humour woven into its emotional core, the series explores how Indian families confront mental health.
