Orry Summoned by Mumbai Police in Rs 252 Crore Drugs Case

Mumbai Police have summoned social media influencer Orry, or Orhan Awatramani, for questioning in the Rs 252-crore mephedrone case. He has been directed to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s Ghatkopar unit at 10 am on Thursday. The case began in March 2024 after police seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone from a manufacturing facility in the Sangli district. The investigation has widened as officials traced links to high-profile rave parties held in India and abroad.

Celebrities Under Police Scanner

Police arrested Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh after his deportation from Dubai, and he reportedly admitted to organising lavish rave parties attended by celebrities, influencers, and some politicians. Names that emerged during the probe include Alishah Parkar, actors Nora Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, producers Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique, and Orry, who has now been called for questioning.
