Pawan Kalyan’s latest film, They Call Him OG, released as OG, opened to a strong response in theatres. According to reports, OG box office collection on Day 1 in India reached Rs 90.25 crore net. The film also earned over Rs 100 crore worldwide through advance bookings before release. This marks a record opening for a Telugu film and for the actor. Fans across the country rushed to cinemas, making it one of the biggest openings of the year.

In the Telugu region, theatres had 69.35% occupancy, peaking at 77.51% at night. The Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada versions recorded 18.36%, 10.37% and 9.19% respectively. OG surpassed other 2025 releases such as Coolie, Chhaava, and Saiyaara on its first day. The main cast of They Call Him OG features Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, Emraan Hashmi in a key role, along with Priyanka Arul Mohan and Samyuktha Menon.
