Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital in Delhi to meet the Red Fort blast victims, soon after returning from his two-day Bhutan visit. Heavy security was deployed around the hospital during his visit. The blast near the Red Fort on Monday evening killed 13 people and injured many. Several vehicles caught fire in the powerful explosion during peak traffic hours.

PM Modi meets Red Fort Blast Victims
PM Modi met doctors and enquired about the condition of the Red Fort blast victims. Hospital officials briefed him on the treatment being provided to the injured. Security agencies remained on high alert throughout the visit. The probe into the Red Fort Blast continued. The blast occurred hours after police arrested eight suspects, including three doctors, and seized 2,900 kg of explosives linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.
