Manika Vishwakarma, a 22-year-old talent from Rajasthan, proudly represented India at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant held in Thailand. Her journey from a small-town upbringing to becoming one of India’s most inspiring young beauty ambassadors is filled with dedication, talent, and strong advocacy. Manika finished as a Top 30 finalist among 120 global contestants, an achievement that reflects both her hard work and impressive presence on the world stage.

Early Life and Educational Journey

Born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, Manika grew up in a family that valued culture, education, and discipline. She later moved to Delhi to pursue higher education and is currently completing her final year of Political Science and Economics at Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University.

Alongside her academic journey, she developed a deep passion for the arts. She has been trained in classical Kathak dance for over a decade and is also an award-winning painter. Her artwork has been recognised by institutions such as the Lalit Kala Akademi and the J.J. School of Art. She also served as an NCC cadet, adding leadership and discipline to her personality.

Rise in Pageant World

Manika’s growth in the pageant world began at the regional level when she won the title of Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024. Her confidence, articulate communication, and consistent excellence soon earned her national recognition. On August 18, 2025, she was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 in Jaipur, receiving the title from former winner Rhea Singha.

Advocacy for Neurodiversity and Mental Health

Apart from her achievements in pageantry and academics, Manika is also a strong voice for mental health and neurodiversity. She is the founder of Neuronova, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about conditions such as ADHD and autism.

Journey at 74th Miss Universe Pageant

At the 74th Miss Universe pageant held on November 21, 2025, Manika represented India with confidence and grace. She advanced to the Top 30 and competed in the swimsuit round alongside contestants from China, Brazil, Rwanda, and Colombia. Though she did not make it to the Top 12, her participation continued India’s legacy.

Manika Vishwakarma’s journey is a blend of determination and meaningful advocacy. She may not have brought home the crown, but she has made India proud and established herself as a rising star in the world of beauty, art, and social impact.
