Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan made a dazzling debut at the Met Gala. He made history as he became the first Indian male actor to grace the prestigious blue carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Dressed in a striking all-black Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble, SRK exuded regal charm with a tailored suit, layered necklaces, and a standout ‘K’ pendant, perfectly aligning with the theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
Shah Rukh Khan is here!
His signature pose and infectious smile sent fans into a frenzy, with social media erupting in praise. During the red carpet, SRK admitted he was a little nervous. He said, “I don’t know about history, but I am extremely nervous and excited. I’ve not done many red carpets, I’m very shy.” He further revealed his kids were more excited than him. SRK said, “For me, the most exciting thing) is I have little kids who are excited about the Met.”
When the most famous man in the world walks the red carpet, it’s not just fashion. It’s representation. Sabyasachi didn’t dress a star, he represented Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan. Nothing less! 🖤

Sabyasachi praised Shah Rukh and said, “Just to give a little more context, Shah Rukh Khan is probably one of the most famous men in the world, and his fan following is legendary. We nearly had a stampede outside the hotel when we came out. Representation is the most important thing when you get a man like this on the red carpet, especially when it is Black Dandy. And we wanted to represent Shah Rukh Khan as Shah Rukh Khan and nobody else.”
