Released in five languages and across 2D and 3D formats, it’s now India’s highest-grossing animated film ever, beating even ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda’ in domestic numbers.
Massive Response for Telugu 3D Versions
The Telugu 3D version has seen exceptional success, with nearly 80% occupancy, which is rare for animation. The Hindi 3D version also pulled strong numbers, with over 68%. With a global gross of Rs 112 crore, ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ signals a new era for Indian animation rooted in myth and culture.
