The inheritance dispute following Sunjay Kapur’s death has taken a dramatic turn. Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking their rightful share of their late father Sunjay Kapur’s estate. They allege that his stepmother, Priya Sachdev, has forged his will and are seeking court intervention to protect their inheritance rights. The children claim they have not been given either the original or a copy of the alleged document.
Karisma Kapoor’s Children Battle
Earlier, Sunjay had gifted bonds worth Rs 14 crore to the two children, ensuring a steady monthly income of Rs 10 lakh. He also handed over the ownership of a house to Karisma during the divorce proceedings. The children now seek the court’s intervention to restrain Priya from executing the will until the matter is resolved. Meanwhile, Safira, Priya’s daughter, reportedly adopted the surname ‘Kapur’, hinting at strategic moves in the ongoing inheritance battle.
