Rishab Shetty has done it once more. His much-awaited prequel, Kantara Chapter 1, stormed into theatres on 2 October 2025. In just two days, the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. Released in five languages—Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam—the film has captivated audiences across the country. Made on a massive budget of Rs 125 crore, Kantara Chapter 1 had a thunderous opening, drawing crowds to cinemas nationwide.

Kantara Chapter 1: Day 2 Collections

Kantara Chapter 1 keeps the momentum alive on day 2, earning an estimated Rs 43.65 crore. In just two days, its India net collection has crossed Rs 105.5 crore, smashing expectations.

Day 1 Box Office Collections

On its opening day, the film collected an impressive Rs 61.85 crore net in India. Breaking down the numbers, Kannada contributed Rs 18 crore, while the Hindi dubbed version performed equally well at Rs 19 crore. The Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions brought in Rs 5.5 crore, Rs 13 crore, and Rs 5.25 crore, respectively.

Even with a 25.63% dip in earnings on 3 October 2025, the film’s momentum remains strong. This shows that the magic of the film is still alive and well. Critics are praising it, fans are celebrating it, and the box office is roaring louder with every show.
