Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 is performing exceptionally well at the box office, completing nearly a week in theatres. On Wednesday, it earned Rs 25 crore net, taking its total in India to Rs 316 crore net (Rs 379 crore gross). The Hindi version has crossed Rs 100 crore net, while the Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam versions are also showing significant numbers. Overseas, the film has earned over $8 million.

The worldwide Kantara Chapter 1 box office collection has now reached Rs 451 crore, surpassing hits such as Brahmastra Part One and 3 Idiots. Although earnings overseas have slowed, the film still has potential to grow over the second weekend. With audiences across India attending in large numbers, Kantara Chapter 1 is likely to cross Rs 500 crore globally soon.
