Royal Challengers Bangalore began strong, but after Phil Salt’s run out, they lost momentum and ended their innings at 163/7. Despite a decent total, RCB couldn’t defend it. Delhi Capitals came out all guns blazing with the bat. Captain KL Rahul anchored the innings brilliantly, scoring a commanding 95 runs, and showcasing his comfort at the venue. His knock led DC to a convincing victory, comfortably chasing the target. It was a comprehensive performance by Delhi, dominating both with ball and bat, and RCB struggled to match the energy.
