Indian Women Cricket Create History! Win World Cup for the First Time

Indian Women’s Cricket made history in Navi Mumbai, lifting their first-ever ICC Women’s World Cup trophy after a thrilling victory over South Africa. Playing at the DY Patil Stadium, India posted 298–7 and bowled out South Africa for 246. Shafali Verma scored 87 runs, and Deepti Sharma made 58 runs and took five wickets as India won the match by 52 runs.

It was a dream come true for Indian Women’s Cricket as they lifted the World Cup for the first time. South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt scored a century, but India’s teamwork and determination sealed a proud and unforgettable victory for the nation. The DY Patil Stadium was packed with cheering fans as India made history.
