As tensions rise along the Thailand–Cambodia border, the Indian Embassy in Cambodia has issued a safety advisory for Indian nationals. The embassy has urged citizens to avoid traveling to the affected areas due to the ongoing military conflict. Emergency contact details have been provided for those needing assistance. This alert comes shortly after a similar warning from the Indian Embassy in Thailand. The border clashes, now in their third consecutive day, have claimed at least 33 lives—both civilians and soldiers—and triggered large-scale evacuations. So far, over 1,38,000 people have been moved from Thailand’s border region, while more than 35,000 have been displaced within Cambodia.

The conflict has already seen the use of fighter jets, tanks, and heavy artillery as violence intensifies. The UN Security Council has stepped in with an emergency session to assess the situation. Meanwhile, Indian authorities are urging citizens to stay alert, follow local advisories, and trust only verified updates.
