An Indian couple from Boston made headlines by bringing a slice of Bollywood to New York City. Varun Navani and Amanda Soll turned heads as they hosted a 400-person baraat at NYC Wall Street. The grand wedding procession featured thumping dhols, dancing guests, and a groom lifted high by friends, all unfolding in the heart of the Financial District.

This lively scene was part of a four-day celebration that also included a sangeet at The Glasshouse and a reception at Cipriani Wall Street. City records show the couple filed 28 permits to pull off the event. According to reports, they spent between $25,000 to $66,000 per location, including costs for NYPD coordination. While some criticised the public disruption, others hailed it as a joyful celebration of culture and love, proof that when it comes to Indian weddings, no street is too busy.
