Chasing a target of 265, Men in yellow showed great composure as Matthew Short led the charge with a crucial 74. Cooper Connolly’s unbeaten 61 then guided the hosts home with more than three overs to spare.

Earlier, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma (73 off 97) and Shreyas Iyer (61 off 77) steadied the innings after early setbacks, helping India post 264/9 in 50 overs. Axar Patel’s quickfire 44 added vital runs for India. However, Australia’s chase, backed by strong middle-order partnerships and key wickets from Adam Zampa (4) and Xavier Bartlett (3), secured their victory, with Zampa named player of the match. With this win, Mitchell Marsh’s men have asserted their dominance in the series against India.
