At least 18 people lost their lives, and three were rescued after a private bus was buried under debris following a massive Himachal Pradesh landslide in Bilaspur district on Tuesday evening. The bus was travelling from Rohtak to Ghumarwin when heavy rain caused the hill to collapse. Rescue teams, including the NDRF, rushed to the site as Prime Minister Modi and other leaders expressed deep grief and support for the victims’ families.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said rescue operations are in full swing near Bhallu Bridge. NDRF and local teams are clearing debris, and three children have been rescued. President Droupadi Murmu and Home Minister Amit Shah expressed condolences, praying for the injured and those who lost their lives in the tragic Himachal Pradesh landslide.
