Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has celebrated India’s historic ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 victory in a unique way. The Indian skipper got a tattoo of the World Cup 2025 trophy inked on her arm to mark the special moment. The tattoo features the year ‘2025’ and the number ‘52’, symbolising India’s 52-run win over South Africa in the final.

Sharing a photo of her tattoo on social media, Harmanpreet wrote, “Forever etched in my skin and my heart. Waited for you since Day 1, and now I will see you every morning and be grateful.” The post quickly went viral, with fans and fellow cricketers praising her heartfelt gesture.

In a video released by the BCCI, the 36-year-old cricketer looked back on her early days of playing cricket with her father’s bat and how those childhood dreams shaped her career. “It was my dream since childhood to win the World Cup one day. God has truly blessed this team and our efforts,” she said.

Harmanpreet also shared an inspiring message for young athletes: “Never stop dreaming. You never know where your destiny will take you.”
