Pakistani celebrities have reacted strongly to India’s recent airstrikes. Under Operation Sindoor, India targeted terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Labeling the strikes “cowardly,” Pakistani celebs like Hania Aamir, Mahira Khan and many took to social media to voice their outrage.

Actress Mahira Khan reposted a critical message from writer Fatima Bhutto and added, “Seriously cowardly!!! May Allah protect our country, may better sense prevail. Ameen.” Hania echoed the sentiment with a single-word Instagram post: “Cowardly.”

This response comes as several Pakistani celebrity accounts, including Mahira’s, Hania’s and Ali Zafar’s, have been restricted in India following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.
India confirmed the precision strikes, claiming they targeted only terror infrastructure and avoided Pakistani military sites. According to reports, at least 17 terrorists were killed. While Indian officials hailed the operation as a justified response, Pakistani voices have urged for peace and diplomacy over escalation.
