Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has decided not to join the IPL 2026 mini-auction, ending his 14-year journey in the league. The 37-year-old becomes the latest big name to withdraw, following Andre Russell and Faf du Plessis. Maxwell, who last played for Punjab Kings, thanked fans and the league for the memories. Glenn Maxwell’s IPL Career
Maxwell started his IPL career with Delhi Capitals in 2012 and won a title with Mumbai Indians in 2013. He later played for Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore, scoring over 2,800 runs in 141 matches. Although he had standout seasons, including one with 513 runs in 2021, he often struggled with consistency.
