In a star-studded evening in New Delhi, India head coach Gautam Gambhir hosted a special dinner for the Indian Test squad ahead of the second Test against the West Indies. The dinner was organised to boost team bonding and morale ahead of the final match. The attendees included captain Shubman Gill, pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, batsman KL Rahul, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, and bowling coach Morne Morkel. BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla was also present.
Did Gambhir host without Kohli and Rohit?
Fans quickly noticed that superstars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were absent from the dinner. Their absence immediately sparked curiosity and discussion.
India currently leads the series 1-0 after a commanding innings-and-140-runs win in Ahmedabad. The team will aim for a clean sweep at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. With a busy schedule ahead, including a white-ball tour to Australia, Gambhir’s dinner served as the perfect morale booster for the squad.
