Bollywood fans can finally take a sigh of relief. Farhan Akhtar has confirmed that Jee Le Zaraa is not on hold. Announced back in 2021, the much-talked-about road trip drama stars Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif. For years, the film was surrounded by speculation of delays and cancellations. Scheduling conflicts and date clashes made many believe the project was gone for good.
Jee Le Zaraa is Not Shelved
In a recent interview, Farhan clarified the situation. While he cannot promise the same cast lineup, Jee Le Zaraa is very much alive. He revealed that extensive preparation has already been done. From location scouting to recording music, the groundwork is ready. It is only a matter of time before the cameras roll.
Touted as a female-led journey similar to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, the film remains one of the most-awaited Bollywood updates. Farhan calls the script “too delicious” to abandon and promises the film will happen.
